Privacy policy.

Who we are
TRIGRAMS Studio ("we", "us"), ABN 85 714 298 118, is a Meta ads studio operated by Alex Oliver in Perth, Western Australia. You can reach us any time at hello@trigrams.studio.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Enquiry and booking forms: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, business name and website, your answers to the questions about your business and ad budget, and whatever you write in your message.
- Job applications: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, where you're based, links you share, and what you write about yourself. We use it only to consider you for work with us.
- Booking a call: if you pick a time, Calendly collects your name, email address and the time you chose, under its own privacy policy.
- Newsletter: the newsletter runs on Substack. If you subscribe, Substack collects your email address under its own privacy policy, not ours.
- Analytics: anonymous page-visit data via Vercel Web Analytics. It is cookie-free and doesn't identify you personally.
- Meta Pixel: a small piece of code from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that records which pages you visit and whether you send an enquiry, along with your browser, device, IP address and Meta's cookie IDs. Meta may match this to your Facebook or Instagram account.
We don't collect payment details through this website, and we never ask for sensitive information here.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, usually within 24 hours.
- To deliver services you've engaged us for.
- To understand which pages are useful, so the site keeps improving.
- To measure which Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site, and to show our ads to people who have visited before or who are similar to them.
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. Ever.
Third-party services
This site relies on a small number of tools, each with their own privacy policy:
- Formspree: processes form submissions and delivers them to our inbox.
- Calendly: shows the booking calendar and holds the details of calls you book.
- Vercel: hosts the site and provides anonymous analytics.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): runs the Meta Pixel and uses that data under its own privacy policy.
- Substack: hosts the newsletter and holds subscriber email addresses.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (typically in the United States). By using this site you consent to that transfer.
Cookies and local storage
The Meta Pixel sets Meta's advertising cookies (such as _fbp) on this site. They are used for the ad measurement and targeting described above. Vercel's analytics is cookie-free.
Your browser's own storage also remembers which price you were shown, so it stays the same if you come back.
Opting out: you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works. You can also stop Meta using your activity on other sites for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
Storage and security
Information you send us lives in our email and the service providers listed above, all protected by access controls. We keep it only as long as we need it to do the things described in this policy.
Access, correction, and deletion
Want to see what we hold about you, fix it, or have it deleted? Email hello@trigrams.studio and it'll be handled promptly, at no cost.
Complaints
If you think we've mishandled your information, contact us first and we'll do our best to fix it quickly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
